Dr. Steinbauer
holds
a
Bachelor's and Master's of Music from the University of Michigan.
His
Doctorate is from Indiana University. He holds the distinction of
being Professor Emeritus at Kansas State University where he was Dean
for several years before he retired.
He was
inducted into the
Kansas Music Educators Hall of Fame in 1999. In 2001, friends,
colleagues, and students established an endowed scholarship fund
through MTNA in his name -- the "Steinbauer Music Scholarship." |
